Yes indeed, last week saw me amble, bumble, and tumble along t' Casa del Greenwood-Harrop restaurant in rainy old Hampshire. (T'at is, Hampshire, England for your American readers.)
t' atmosphere is a genteel fusion of refined elegance and modern trimmings: the lashings of bicycle oil on the approaching driveway means that one can hoik in spines and slide straight t' dining step in style. The staff were most urbane: t' waiter who served me a most delicious repast of weevil-infested bread - full bodied, crunchy, and fruity in an Argentinian-pampas-reared beefy way - sounded like he were from deepest Yorkshire which made me feel right at home. I have no hesitation in awarding one Munchelin star! (Although some lubberly jam roly-poly wit' custard for afters would have gone down a treat, I say, a treat.)
Tally ho! Stanley (OBE), Restaurant Critic, Raconteur, Horse Breeder, Hedgehog
Did Stanley make it back up north after filling up at Chez Greenwood-Harrop? If so I'd like to apologise for almost running him over this evening on the way back to Chez parents's. Next time if you could look out for cars before crossing the road....

Damn! How come you get to see cool stuff like hedgehogs? Is it too much to ask for them to climb up to the second floor so I can see them?
I thought I'd heard that neighbours weren't as friendly down south, and didn't come round visiting so much. Obviously I was misinformed!
